accepting credit cards you are throwing money out the window. Fortunately for you
the merchant account business is very competitive so there are some
excellent deals out there.
You should not pay any set up fees to get started. You should also not have
to sign any long term contracts. This way if the company does not perform competitively or
your needs change your are not penalized if you cancel the service.
If your business is just starting you might ask if the company has
a guaranteed approval program. Sometimes if your business is doing
only $3,000. per month or less you can get approved automatically.
This saves you from a lot of paperwork. Later when your business
is booming you can easily ask for a raise in your limit if your
account is in good standing.
