Does Exchanging Links With Other Sites Really WorK?
I prove in this video that exchanging links with other sites is one of the best ways to get free traffic to your website and it absolutely does not hurt your search engine rankings. Check it out and if you want to exchange links with all my sites you may do so at http://www.quickregister.net/linkexchanges/ Let me know what you think in the comments section of the blog. Thanks. Matt.

Hi Matt,
Where do I put the links codes from other sites on my pages and how is it done? I am clueless about where how or what to copy and paste for this function to work. Thank you for any help.
Sincerely,
Jose
In order to exchange links you need to know some html code. Not too much but a little. You also need to have access to your webpages of your website. Link exchanging will not work with self replicated type websites where you cannot modify the website. I suggest Googling “free html tutorial” and learning the basics. It is not that hard and is very important if you are going to market on the internet.

Matt, none of my websites have a place where i
can place your link for the codes that you
provided ,so how im i able to exchange links?
You need to have your own domain name and website which allows you to modify the pages in order to exchange links.
Matt

Hello Matt,
I have not had much luck receiving any traffic from the links I have exchanged and I am not sure why. My site contains excellent content and offers numerous resources, yet I have not received any traffic through any of the exchange links. Thanks for any advice you may have.
Susan Green
You need to have a long term strategy. I have installed the infowizards system on my sites which automates the process.
yes it is right exchanging links creats traffic to website
but it is also right that by this u will gain the popularity of u r site which is good for u r site and business

Great ideal just goes to show that the little guy’s do matter.
when it come’s to traffic.
Very nicely done Matt. I am struggling with trying to create a website. A nasty person in a safelist reported me to hotshortURL and all my links were removed so I have to start again on my blog. Seems it only takes one!

Even if you are promoting other people’s websites you need to have your own domain name, you need to learn how to make a basic website,
and you need to have your own web hosting account. All this can be accomplished for about $50. per year and a little research. If you do not have your own website you cannot exchange links with other sites.
I’ve been exchanging links for many years and find it’s definitely been worth the time and effort, as an additional traffic generator.
What is the best way to create a link exchange on a wordpress blog? I would be greatly interested in this mate!
Daniel Tetreault.
I would simply put a link to your link exchange software program on your blog. The program is rather complex and I think it would be better manages by a dedicated program. However, you might try doing a search “Wordpress Plugin Link Exchange.”
You would have to either simply manually add people’s links when they linked back to you. If you want an automated system you might check out the infowizards script. Do a search on Google. This is an automated system.
One way links are more beneficial than a straight swap.
Although to avoid being too artificial and manufactured (in Googles eyes) its good to have a good mixture of anchors both recipricol and exchanged.
You have a great blog here and it is Nice to read some well written posts that have some relevancy…keep up the good work
Mattm you have some real useful info on these videos. just wanted to thank you for making these. i try to exchange links, and i won a web design business so I get to put a link on most of my client websites! it works really well.
I would like to exchange links and have been trying to find where to put the links on my web sites. All your comments have made me feel like I am not the only one that can’t figure this out.
Kathy,
You need to be able to modify the html code of your website to add other people’s links. If you are just promoting affiliate urls then you cannot do this. This is why I tell everyone, even if they are promoting affiliate urls, that they must have their own domain name and their own website. You must at least learn how to make a basic website. I suggest Jason Dinner’s course. See here: http://www.quickregister.net/jasondinner/
Good luck,
Matt
You do NOT make is easy to find a logon page for registered users.
Too many sites asking for register what is going on???
Sorry about that. The site was getting slammed with traffic and the page was a little slow. I test it and now it works. It is under edit acccount at the top of all the link exchange pages. http://www.thefreeadforum.com/infowizards/login.php
Please try again.
Sorry for any confusion. You may find my link exchange page to all of my sites at

At the top of this page you made the above statement. The link attached to the above statement is just another sales pitch.
From what I see you only answered (not really) one post. You made one comment to Kathy and then another to your own comment. The first link didn’t make sense and the second link didn’t go anywhere.
So, why should I invest my time/money in any of your sites, if from what I see, there isn’t any support?
Hi Richard. Thanks for your comment. Actually I think you are right. Even if people do not make specific questions I should still interact more on the blog. After reviewing the comments I see one question I did not answer. Thank you for the contructive criticism. I will try to do better.
Matt
Hey Matt, I put up all your site links awhile back and I’m still not getting any traffic, whats up with that. http://www.thelordshelpinghand.com
Hi Dean, you need to make sure that you have submitted your site to all of our separate link directories. You can get to all the link directories here. http://www.articledude.com/infowizards/ Also you should look to exchange links with many different sites not just mine. It is a long term strategy that has worked well for me. Thanks. Matt
