What was your first sale online?
I just started this thread on both The Free Ad Forum and on The Warrior Forum. We have received some really interesting comments. The lesson that keeps recurring is that you must be persistent. Some people waited years for their first sale! The first sale you make online is usually the most exciting because it shows you that YOU can market online. It is one thing to listen to how others are being successful but often just experiencing a small success yourself makes all the difference between continuing marketing or giving up.

My 1st sale on-line was setting up a Domain name for my friend
thru my GoDaddy banner on my website. Comm. 2.14. Not much,but the first fish is always the hardest to catch. Right?

My first sale on line was with Click Bank and I think the first week of promoting several products I made $250.00. Now I’m hooked, there’s money out there and lots of opportunity on the World Wide Web and I’m a part of it.

to tell you the truth, evry thing that I have tryed has been a failure. this includes click bank, goggle adsense and a few other things I have tryed. My biggest problem has been marketing. I live on a fixed income and cannot afford pay per click advertising. Classified ads just dont work unless you can upgrade for better exposure. And most that I’ve seen arefull of false promises and very missleading. But who knows, maybe someday!
Fred, why don’t you try something which combines on and offline marketing? Find a real service or product that you believe in not necessarily something that is being pushed in the internet marketing world. Then put your phone number on your website and offer people personal service. You can charge higher fees and you can always beat the big boys if you can give personal service. If you know SEO real brick and mortar businesses really need people to help promote their websites. You could always improve your skills in this area and offer your services to local businesses in your area. To find clients look around and see who is spending money on advertising. Around here I see a lot of ads for trade schools and lawyers. I had someone who ran a trade school offer me $10,000 to work their seo. I turned it down. Food for thought.

Then someone told me, if I wanted more money to hang out with people who had money, so I did. My life has changed and I’d like to visit with you.
